Stock photos

Stock Photography. (Make a little money)

Stock Photography is something everybody should try.
Stock photos are photos used all over the world, specially in the advertising world.

Anybody with a camera, can take a stock photo.

There are many sites online who sell stock photos and who sell very well.
In the beginning, it can be a bit difficult to find your way around, but don´t let it scare you away from these sites. Trust me.
If I can do it, right.
This photo above, was the first photo I got accepted in a stock photo site, fotolia which also happens to be my favourite stock site. Note: the frame work and copyright mark you can´t put in a stock photo, but they will tell you that on the site.

There are billions stock photos out there, but there´s always room fore new ones.
There is no doubt about, that photos fore commercial use are in the top selling region.
A photo of hardened steel got sold 7,700 times, which would bring in the photographer about 8,000 US dollars, just fore one photo.

The idea of stock photography is that you make money every time your photo gets downloaded, of course given the amount of photos that these sites have, you can´t expect to make thousands after thousands of dollars over night, but you can still give it a go. See what happens.

There is one rule that includes all, stock photos and that is NOISE, no photos will get accepted with these sites if there are noise on the photos. Be aware of this.

Every stock selling site have  a intro page ore an information page which will help you on the way.
They tell which photos they don´t need, and which photos are the top sellers right now and so on.
Some sites also have a special trial page where you can learn how to avoid noise on your pictures and to get your photos accepted one the site.

Here is a few links to some sites I would recommend.
